ARE RUST CHECK AND “UNDERCOATING” THE SAME THING?

No. Undercoating is the process of applying a thick wax or tar based coating to the undercarriage of your vehicle. The products used do not effectively protect your vehicle from rust damage; they cannot penetrate the seams, spot welds and other hard to access areas of your vehicle.

Rust Check will effectively creep and penetrate these areas, which happen to be the areas where rust is most likely to form! And unlike wax or tar based undercoating products, Rust Check will not start to crack and peel, meaning moisture won’t get trapped against the metal surfaces of your vehicle.

Rust Check’s unique formulation protects your vehicle in ways that traditional undercoating cannot!
